This offers a helpful guide to discount types we offer, discounts we don't offer, troubleshooting tips when you're experiencing an issue with discounts, and our seasonal discount schedule.

DISCOUNT CATEGORY

Automatic discounts are assigned to specific products.  When you select that product, you will see the discounted item in your cart. You are not required to do anything else with that product or the order to receive the discount.

Opt-in discounts require the buyer to accept the discount offer.  For instance, a buy-one, get-one offer enables the buyer to purchase one product at full price and asks if the buyer wishes to accept the offer to buy a second product at a discounted price. The product that is offered as the opt-in discount cannot be switched out for a different product.  The two products are being offered as a bundled deal.  

Code discounts require the buyer to enter a specific group of letters and/or numbers into the discount code box in the cart.  Code discounts are one-time, limited use, meaning that they can only be used one time on a single order and cannot be combined with other discounts. Codes received through private email, SMS, or traditional mail cannot be transferred to another person, as they are tied to a current member's address and/or email account.


DISCOUNT TYPE 

We do not offer military, law enforcement, veterans, or public service discounts, as most of our products are already discounted.  


TROUBLESHOOTING

If a code discount is not working, 1) make sure that you entered the code correctly. They are case-sensitive, so enter it exactly as you see it.  2) Check past transactions to see if you've used it on a previous order.  

All discount categories cannot be used at the same time in a single transaction.  There are no exceptions for opt-in and code combinations.

If a discount code is not working, check to see if you already have opt-in discount products in your cart. Opt-in discounts are offered for a particular time-period and discount codes typically do not expire for a year. Recommend keeping opt-in and using the code for future orders.  


DISCOUNT REQUEST

Our customer service agents do not manually discount products or orders upon request and/or as a condition of purchase.  

Customer service agents do not alter orders to accommodate discounts offered at any point in the process: while in the process of ordering, during payment, once payment is complete, during fulfillment, pending delivery, or post delivery.  

Customers cannot switch one discount for another at any time or negotiate deals based on applying multiple discounts to any single order or series of orders over a period of time.

Discount offers are provided through membership, advertising, and physical coupons enclosed in product shipments when available.


VOLUME DISCOUNT

Use the BUY MORE SAVE MORE (BMSM) discount displayed on each product page. You will be able to purchase different styles of a similar pen type.  For example, purchasing multiple colors in our aluminum collection. You will not be able to mix and match different pen types (e.g., stainless and titanium).  To use the BMSM offer, follow the instruction below: 

1. Choose the first pen and add to cart.

2. In the cart area, click on the Bastion logo to return to shop in store.

3. Choose the next pen and add to cart. Continue steps 1 & 2 until all choices are in cart.

The final cart will show all your selections with discounted prices.


HOLIDAY SALES

We typically offer storewide discounts during the following holiday schedule. Often the sale will begin a couple of days before the holiday and end on the holiday. This is not a guarantee of an offering, but a helpful guide to plan ahead for your purchases.
