PRE-SALE, LIMITED EDITION PRODUCTS
These products are pre-sold before they are manufactured to determine the exact number of units to produce from the total number sold. These products are available for sale one-time only during a short period of time. There is a sale start and end date. Production begins a few days after the end date as materials are purchased and prepped. Once the end date passes, sales are no longer available for these products. Ship dates are estimates only, as there are no hard and fast guarantees when production will be complete given the turn-around time necessary for buying and prepping materials.
Typical timeframes for these products are anywhere from 45 to 65 days depending on the start and end date and total number of units to complete.
Similar to our core product line, these products will follow the same build blueprint. Nothing will change with regard to function and/or replacement parts between these special products and our standard offering. If something does change, we will communicate this in our product listing.
These products follow similar policies as our core products with regard to cancellation, warranty, and returns/refunds. Exchange is not available for these products.
It is rare that product shipments are lost in transit for domestic (USA) sales. International shipments can be compromised by customs issues, long cross-country/continent routes, or handling by multiple carriers. If a shipment cannot be recovered, a replacement is typically not possible given the exact numbers that are produced. Our product facility does not manufacture single products to provide replacement. Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis in these circumstances.
SPLIT SHIPMENT
We highly recommend creating a separate order for a pre-sale, limited-edition pen instead of combining it with our core retail products. Split shipments will occur with combined orders meaning core items will ship post sale instead of waiting for the pre-sale pen to ship. However, it does happen that combined orders are missed by our system for split shipping with delivery delays occurring with the core products.
