POCKET CLIPUpdated a month ago

Our pure metal pocket clip is designed to sit very tight to the pen/pencil barrel creating tension that keeps it in place.

The clip is NOT considered "deep carry" where the clip has space between the clip and barrel to accommodate thicker material such as denim, wool, flannel, khaki, etc., especially reinforced pockets (shown below).

Given the material type and its degree of tension, carry should involve materials suited to its intended function such as light cotton, this polyester, rayon, etc.

If your pen carry involves attaching to thick materials such as cardboard, metal, plastic, heavy wool, denim, reinforced denim or corduroy, khaki, flannel, wool, down, thick nylon, etc., the pressure on the clip will cause it to ride up (not remain in place), break the Loctite seal on the screws, and/or snap/shear off.

Replacement clips and screw sets are available on our site using the link below:

If a new pen/pencil arrives with a missing/broken clip or screws, we will provide a set within 30-days of purchase.  Loose screws can be tightened by the customer and does not need to be returned for replacement or repair.  A Torx #6 screwdriver works on the screws.  We recommend a dab of Loctite when tightening or replacing the screws.

We are not liable for loss or damage due to inappropriate use/storage of product.

Our replacement clip sets are offered in stainless steel and titanium pure metal only.

If you have a coated set (gray or black), let us know by emailing us at [email protected] to determine if we have spares to sell from our warehouse.

We do not recommend attaching to reinforced pockets as shown below:

Do NOT attach to spiral notebook rings, key rings, pocket chains, etc.  Not only is the clip tension too tight for such materials, constant contact with metal will damage surface of pen/pencil.
